I want to see the world with virgin eyes
Loving the people that I used to despise
Living it up in a retro disguise
Rocking the world with my virtual lies
What did I hear about disgrace
The world looks like a very bad place

I’m lost in the haze
Lost in a maze
Lost in the very frightening blaze
I know that I am blind
Until I can find
My ideal peace of mind

When I was lying there on my back
I saw it again and I was taken aback
I had just realized that what I couldn’t see
Was everyone’s lost serenity
Why I am I feeling this malevolent pace
That is about to destroy the human race

I’m lost in the haze
